My Heros

Grateful for so many things in my life. Presently I’m reflecting on the health

care workers that took care of me Day in and day out. I’ve spent as much

time in the hospital as I have out. Finally, it looks like I’m on the mend.

In August 2017 I arrived at the University of Iowa hospital ER. I don’t think I

will ever realize just how sick I was. I had been in a hospital in Cedar Rapids

Iowa for 6 weeks and was released. When I got to the ER I was immediately

taken to a room and my vascular team was in my room in what seemed like

3 minutes.

I hope they ALL know how much they mean to me.

Here are some highlights of my journey and the people who helped me

WANT to live and to try and start my new normal.

Thank you again! I love you all so much !!!!
